Graduate composition student Nick Norton joins faculty at Chapman University

UCSB graduate composition student Nick Norton has joined the faculty at Chapman University's Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music. Mr. Norton, a doctoral candidate at UCSB, is finishing up his first quarter as a Lecturer at Chapman University, where he teaches classes in aural skills. In addition to teaching at Chapman and serving as a teaching assistant at UCSB, Mr. Norton performs as a guitarist, is co-artistic director of Equal Sound, founder and editor of the blog New Classic LA, and is a member of Synchromy. He holds degrees from UC San Diego and King’s College London. As a graduate student at UCSB, Mr. Norton has studied with Clarence Barlow, Curtis Roads, and Joel Feigin.
