Undergraduate flutist Catherine Marshall will present a senior recital with pianists John Scoville and Asher Severini and cellist Katrina Agate on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1 pm in Karl Geiringer Hall. The program will include Samuel Zyman's Sonata for Flute and Piano; Carl Maria von Weber's Trio in G minor, Op. 63; and Franz Doppler's Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise, Op. 26. 
 
Catherine Marshall, flutist, is in her final year of completing her Bachelor of Music degree at UC Santa Barbara with Professor Jill Felber. During her time at UCSB, Catherine received first place in the Music Teacher’s National Association State Woodwind competition, first place in the Santa Barbara Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation’s instrumental competition, and was a featured student in the University’s Music Department highlight “Music From the Heart” in the UCSB Current. Catherine has maintained an active teaching studio throughout Santa Barbara, served as the flute tutor at Adams Elementary School, and has enjoyed performing with many of UCSB’s performance ensembles and chamber groups. In her free time, Catherine loves serving at St. Marks University Parish as a student leader, mentor, and music minister!
