Graduate violinist Youjin Jung will present a Doctor of Musical Arts recital with pianist Dr. Natasha Kislenko (UC Santa Barbara faculty member) on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 6 pm PDT as a YouTube Premiere via the Department of Music’s YouTube channel. The program will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Camille Saint-Saëns, and César Franck. Jung is a student of UC Santa Barbara Lecturer Ertan Torgul.

About the Artist

Violinist Youjin Jung earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Seoul National University in Korea, and received a master's degree in music performance and literature at the Eastman School of Music with scholarship of graduate award. Ms. Jung has given many concerts (Korea, China, Japan, Spain, Paris, and USA) as a member of orchestral and chamber music ensembles and has participated in several artist programs including the Salzburg Festival. She is currently pursuing her DMA degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she studies with Professor Ertan Torgul.
