UCSB Chamber Orchestra
The UCSB Chamber Orchestra will present live in November 2021 an all-Beethoven program, which will serve as the ensemble's first live, in-person performance since the 20-month-long pause caused by the COVID pandemic. This program was initially scheduled for a June 2020 concert to celebrate Beethoven's 250th Anniversary, which was commemorated that year around the world. The program will feature an energetic overture to Beethoven’s opera Fidelio and a special treat of the composer's Symphony No. 6 "Pastoral," a true gem in the collection of his nine symphonies. Dr. Maxim Kuzin, Director of the UCSB Chamber Orchestra, shared that “we are very enthusiastic to see our audiences back in person at Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall in November!” Please join the ensemble on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 7:30 pm in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall on the UC Santa Barbara campus.

UCSB Mobile Ticketing via the AXS App

UCSB is moving to mobile ticketing via the AXS app! AXS Mobile ID digital tickets are tickets you use with your phone—like e-tickets or mobile tickets from an airline or movie theater—and they make getting in easier than ever.
  • Download the free AXS Tickets app from the Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Select "AXS Mobile ID" as your delivery method when buying tickets (it’s free!).
  • Simply show your tickets on your phone using the AXS app to enter the venue.

See our Ticket Office Information page for more detailed instructions on how to purchase tickets, use your tickets to enter an event, and transfer tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: Paper tickets will no longer be sold at the door and "print-at-home" tickets are no longer an option, though patrons will still have the option to purchase tickets ahead of the event online on our Purchase Tickets page or over the phone by calling the UCSB Associated Students Ticket Office at (805) 893-2064.
The Associated Students Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday from 10 am-5 pm. Online ticket sales will close one hour prior to the event.

Protocols for attending in-person Department of Music events

All patrons 12 years of age and older must show proof of being fully vaccinated* OR provide a negative COVID-19 medical test result (PCR or antigen) taken within 72 hours of the event. Over-the-counter or at-home tests will not be accepted. All patrons must also present a state-issued photo ID in addition to their proof of vaccination/negative test result (photo ID is not required for minors who are accompanied by an adult).
Masks are required in indoor spaces at all times, regardless of vaccination status. Patrons must bring and wear their own face coverings that fully cover both the nose and mouth. Masks are also strongly encouraged at outdoor venues, particularly where social distancing is not an option. Patrons may be asked to leave a venue if they are not adhering to Department of Music health and safety guidelines.
*“Fully vaccinated” means a final COVID-19 vaccine dose was administered at least 14 days prior to the event
Please review the Department of Music's COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols for more information.
