Zachary Hamilton

Bio

Zachary Hamilton is a recording artist, freelance violist and violinist, and teacher in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. He currently studies viola under Jonathan Moerschel in the Doctor of Musical Arts program at UC Santa Barbara.

Zachary also plays jazz, fiddle, and Baroque viola, and his Master’s thesis focused on the implementation of hip hop on string instruments. His debut EP “You’re My Favorite” explores minimalist classical music, musical comedy, and Scottish folk music.
