New Employee Orientation (NEO) welcomes new employees and employees with longer-service who just recently became eligible for UC benefits. NEO provides an introduction to UC Santa Barbara, information about the UC system as well as: history and culture of UC Santa Barbara, policy and procedure, training and development opportunities, services and resources, workplace protections and responsibilities…and so much more!
Welcome to UC Santa Barbara! A successful orientation requires the combined efforts of the supervisor, the employee and University service units to effect a smooth transition to campus life. Review the New Employee Checklist for information regarding parking permits, new hire paperwork, enrolling in benefits, obtaining a Campus ID (Access Card), and more.

The UCSB Student Conduct Code exists to support the standards of social and academic behavior to uphold an environment conducive to student learning. This covers both academic and behavior issues. Anyone may request a consultation with the Office of Student Conduct to discuss a concern. Speaking with someone in the Office of Student Conduct does not obligate the person to file an official report; investigations do not begin unless and until an official written concern is filed.
