The Young Artists Piano Quartet was founded in 2014 at UCSB as a graduate scholarship quartet. The YAPQ has played in master classes for Lynn Harrell, the Calder Quartet, the Kronos Quartet, and the Danish String Quartet. Members of the quartet participate in a rigorous weekly coaching schedule with faculty from the string, keyboard, and collaborative piano programs, and present several performances per quarter.
Scholarships: all in-state tuition/fees, plus $5000 stipend
Degrees: Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts
