Purchasing Tickets to UCSB Department of Music Events
UCSB Mobile Ticketing via the AXS App
UCSB is moving to mobile ticketing via the AXS app! AXS Mobile ID digital tickets are tickets you use with your phone—like e-tickets or mobile tickets from an airline or movie theater—and they make getting in easier than ever.
- Download the free AXS Tickets app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Select "AXS Mobile ID" as your delivery method when buying tickets (it’s free!).
- Simply show your tickets on your phone using the AXS app to enter the venue.
See below for more detailed instructions on how to purchase tickets, use your tickets to enter an event, and transfer tickets. Print-at-home tickets are no longer an option and paper tickets will no longer be sold at the door.
Purchase Tickets
- Download the free AXS Tickets app on the Apple App Store or Google Play
- Search for the event title or date
- Once on the event page, tap “Get Tickets”
- Select your tickets (indicate ticket type and quantity)
- Tap “Find Tickets”
- Review your order
- Select “AXS Mobile ID” as the Delivery Method
- Tap “Continue”
- Sign in or Sign up for an AXS account
- Enter your payment information
- Tap “Confirm Purchase”
Event Admission
- Open the AXS app and sign in on your mobile device
- On the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap the center circle with your initials to access your AXS Mobile ID (QR code)
- Show your AXS Mobile ID at the door and a ticket associate will scan your QR code
PLEASE NOTE: Screenshots of your AXS Mobile ID will not work if you try to scan them at the venue. To keep your tickets secure, the code for your ID refreshes every minute.
If you have purchased tickets for a group, all tickets in that group will be available on your AXS account. Please make sure all members of your party enter at the same time or transfer tickets to members of your party prior to the event.
Transfer Tickets
- Open the AXS app and sign in on your mobile device
- Select the event and access tickets
- Tap “Transfer” next to the event
- Select the tickets to transfer and enter the recipient’s information
- Tap “Transfer” on the review page to send the tickets
The recipient will receive an email notifying them of the transfer. If they have not created an AXS account, they will need to create one to complete the transfer. Once they have created an account, the tickets will be accessible within their account on the AXS app.
