The Department of Music provides a variety of production-related services for faculty and students. These services providing access to practice rooms; recording services; equipment and instrument rentals; piano maintenance; student recital scheduling; and event production. Some of the Department of Music's facilities, including the department's three main concert halls, are available for rent to the public. 

For assistance with instructional equipment such as monitors, projectors, etc. in any of the Department of Music's classroom spaces, please contact UCSB Classroom Services.

Q: Does the Department of Music grant access to practice rooms or instruments to students who are not affiliated with the department in some way?

A: Unfortunately, the department cannot accommodate these requests due to high demand from our own students. We do not make exceptions to this policy.
