Internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano and Founder of the Institute of Vocal Artistry, a bel canto training center emphasizing delle Sedie techniques, originally at University of California at Santa Barbara, now in Saint Paul, Minnesota, serving both young students and professional signers. Distinguished Professor Emerita UCSB, former professor at Indiana, Florida State and Bowling Green State universities, the University of Michigan, and the University of Texas at Austin. Performing artist and faculty at Aspen Music Festival and Interlochen. Vocal clinician, master class presenter, and adjudicator throughout Europe, Asia, and U.S.A.
