David Nakazono

Bio

David Nakazono (BM Trumpet Performance, BA Physics Spring ‘17) is a freelance trumpeter in the Chicagoland area. Currently, he is the 2nd Trumpet of the Peoria Symphony, 3rd Trumpet of the Wisconsin Philharmonic, and a Regular Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Additionally, he is continuing his studies towards a Professional Diploma at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (MM Orchestral Studies ‘19) under Mark Ridenour and Esteban Batallan, Assistant Principal and Principal Trumpets of the Chicago Symphony, respectively. He has performed with the Brevard Music Center Orchestra, the National Repertory Orchestra, the Illinois Symphony, and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
