Yumemi Masui Turk

Bio

Yumemi Masui Turk graduated from the Department of Music at the University of California at Santa Barbara as a Bachelor of Music Piano Performance Major in 2013. Yumemi studied with Dr. Charles Asche.

Yumemi continued her studies at the graduate level at the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston as a Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy Major in the M.M. program. At the University of Houston she was a student of Dr. Nancy Weems.

She was a Teaching Assistant in the Class Piano program at the Moores School of Music. She also taught private lessons as an instructor at the Awty International School and the Moosic School in Houston, Texas. She completed her M.M. degree in 2015.

Ms. Masui Turk is married to Benjamin Turk who is also a distinguished alumnus of the Department of Music at UC Santa Barbara. Together they have returned to Southern California and have established the Turk Music Studio, Inc.
